Inspiring Animal Therapy Booking terms and conditions Booking ➢ To make a booking you can either use the booking system through our website or email us at inspringanimaltherapy@outlook.co.uk. Contact us through our Facebook page or telephone 07463913271. Your booking will not be confirmed until you have been sent email or text confirmation. Payment and Deposits ➢ To secure your booking for a session full payment is required prior to the session. This is £10 for a group or £20 for a private 30 minute session. Deposit is mandatory for an Animal Experience or Pony Parties or for any of our other Animal experiences. This is to be paid via bank transfer or PayPal. All deposits are nonrefundable. ➢ The remaining payment for events must be received in cash or via bank transfer only on the day of the event provided you are happy with the service. We sadly do not accept card payments but will accept cheques via prior arrangement. ➢ If for any reason there is a payment outstanding then we reserve the right to take further action. Cancellations ➢ Should a cancellation be necessary, we will need at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made after this time will be expected to pay in full. Unless there are extenuating circumstances which is at our discretion. ➢ To make a cancellation please email us or contact on the numbers provided above. ➢ In the highly unlikely event that we need to cancel an event, we will telephone you as soon as possible. If we cannot get through to you by phone, we will send an email. In the event that we are unable to rebooked, we will refund in full. Access ➢ If we are visiting a venue where there is limited parking we may require a space near to the door to ensure easy access for our animals. Venues ➢ We are very accommodating to most venues and can usually find something that works for both us and the client. ➢ Any cats, dogs or other pets must be out of the room when the event is taking place. This is to keep both yours and our animals safe. ➢ We will require access to at least one plug socket in order to plug in heat sources for some of our animals. Ideally the plug socket needs to be in the same room. ➢ We can complete sessions in both indoor and outdoor settings. We will need to know beforehand whether the outdoor space is enclosed so we can plan accordingly. Our outdoor sessions are limited to certain animals weather permitting. ➢ In the unlikely event of an animal causing damage to property or furnishings we accept no responsibility. If there is likely to be an issue ensure items are removed from the room beforehand. • It is mandatory that your chosen venue has hand washing facilities, we provide hand gel at the end of the session but guests must wash their hands as well. Children and adults will be expected to wash their hand beforehand, during and post session to ensure hygiene and no contamination between animals. During the sessions ➢ At the start of the session we will ensure we have everybody’s attention and give brief overview of the session including dos and don’ts. ➢ Children and adults must not open any carriers containing live animals. The animals will be presented to you by your host during the session. ➢ Children and adults must listen to instructions from the handlers to ensure the animals do not come to any harm. We will decide during interactions if it is appropriate for a child or adult to handle an animal and this will be at our discretion. ➢ Any injury to animals or damage to equipment due to lack of attention from an event participant, could result in liability for the replacement or repair of equipment, or veterinary costs for an animal if necessary. ➢ Please note that we cannot children under 1 year old to handle the animals and any children under 3 years old will need 1-1 adult supervision. ➢ Food and Drink must not be consumed around the animals. Please ensure hands are washed before eating food. ➢ Anybody deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances will not be permitted to handle the animals and we reserve the right to ask you to leave the premises. Animals ➢ We aim to bring a number of different animals to each session but this may vary as a result of which animals are fit to travel on each day or whether they are on a rest day. ➢ Should an injury occur to an animal as a result of mistreatment, we reserve the right to cancel the session immediately for the safety of our animals. ➢ Animals can be unpredictable and even the calmest animals can have their off days. In most cases there is no cause for concern. There is always a risk an animal my scratch, bite, prickle or kick out. This however is very rare. In the event an animal becomes uncomfortable we may pop them away to give them space to minimise any risk. If you are at all worried then please feel free to just spectate. ➢ If an adult or child has had a previous allergy to any animal please advise when booking. Inspiring Animal Therapy holds no responsibility for a participant having a reaction and the animals are handled at their own risk. Public Liability ➢ Inspiring Animal Therapy is not liable for any harm caused as a result of handling animals. ➢ Inspiring Animal Therapy is is not liable for damage to property or valuables as a result of poor behaviour or mismanagement of participants. ➢ Inspiring Animal Therapy has full public liability insurance. Further information can be provided on request. ➢ Inspiring Animal Therapy is fully licensed.
